About the roles
We are calling for super successful ‘fragrance mavens’ to join our Toorak Road team to drive and develop this exciting new fragrance concept. As a Mecca Cosmetica Fragrance Specialist you will be representing the leading fragrance brands of the world, and your objective is to create a unique retail experience that ‘tells the story’ and ‘sells the emotion’ of fragrance.
As a Mecca Cosmetica Fragrance Specialist you will be responsible for:- Developing client relationships for the fragrance space
- Maintaining the fragrance space to company merchandising standards
- Developing the fragrance business within our Toorak Road store
- Managing stock requirements for the fragrance space
- Managing and driving fragrance sales
- Cross selling across categories including skincare, makeup and hair care
About You
We are seeking two super successful ‘perfumistas’ who understand and love fragrance, and who excel at taking the customer on ‘the journey’ of fragrance.
You will have previous experience in selling a prestige brand, proven success in converting your passion for fragrance into sales, and a keen interest in keeping abreast of fragrance trends. You will have a high energy and ‘whatever it takes’ approach to customer service, and the proven ability to develop a sales business.

ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER
Cosmetics Cubed has an amazing opportunity for a competent Assistant Brand Manager to join our inspired and passionate team.
As the Assistant Brand Manager for Mecca Cosmetica and Kit Cosmetics’ Signature Lines, you will be responsible for executing the implementation of the New Product Development plans.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Product Development Manager, your main responsibilities are to:- Work with the Product Development Manager to deliver high quality products on time and on budget
- Bring together inspired ideas and practical nous to execute and manage the packaging and design requirements for the Mecca Cosmetica and Kit Cosmetics New Product Development Plan
- Manage the sourcing, pricing, specifications and purchasing of all componentry from local and international suppliers for the NPD Plan and existing product lineup
- Liaise with the Mecca Cosmetica and Kit Cosmetics retail and online marketing, sales and training teams on new product launches and ensure the ongoing success of the Signature Line brands
- Work with the graphic design team to get the best design outcomes and bring creative concepts to completion
Your Experience
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2-4 years of experience in a marketing and/or product development/packaging-related position.
- Have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Have an instinct for style and an eye for aesthetics.
- Have strong skills in marketing and a good awareness of the PR function.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and passionate.
- Be highly organized and love developing and maintaining efficient processes.
- Enjoy the hunt of finding the right packaging from a wide range of sources.
- Be time-focused and know how to get the job done and delivered on time.
- Have a ‘hands on’ approach with the proven ability to apply your technical / functional expertise to help create innovative and creative products.
- Have excellent communication skills and have a knack for building relationships with a network of suppliers
